Sri Krishna Science Centre in Patna
Sri Krishna Science Centre is named after the first chief minister of Bihar. The institution was built as a branch of the National Council of Science Museums, an independent body under the Indian Ministry of Culture, in 1978. The centre has a beautiful, lush green garden and a serene atmosphere. It is located in the outskirts of the Patna city. The main aim of the centre is to educate the visitors and give them a practical exposure to understand the tenets of science. At the entrance a sun dial is positioned which shows time according to the movement of the sun.

Jurassic Park: A dinosaur park is constructed in the centre which allures the children’s attention. The moving giant structures of dinosaurs in the park are the most enthralling part. In addition, to give it a realistic look, the centre plays the recorded sound of the most fascinating animal at the background.
3 D show:During the day, at every two hours interval, a 3D show of 20 minutes long related to science is organised at the centre. The spectators are provided with a spectacle to watch the show. One can see the objects or items on screen coming out in this show, which is done with state-of-the art technology of polarizations.
Vishvaroopa: In the exhibition the concept of biodiversity and its connection with Indian mythology and philosophy is explained in an extensive manner. The gallery of the Vishvaroopa holds this exhibition.
Science Park: The children in the science park play and learn at the same time.
Cafeteria: There is a small cafeteria in the centre that offers meals and snacks.
