Padri Ki Haveli, also called St. Mary’s Church and it is the oldest church of Bihar. It was designed by a Venetian architect, Tirreto. The Roman Catholics built a small Church initially, which was later reconstructed and is almost 70 feet in length, 50 feet in height and 40 feet wide. The church has withstood many calamities over the years. It was first attacked by Nawab Mir Qasim over a brawl with the British traders. Later a major portion of this shrine was destroyed during the Revolt of 1857.The church still upholds the beauty of its architectural design. Both Christian and non-Christian people throng the church during the Christmas Eve. The church has a magnificent shaped bell with inscriptions on it. Mother Teresa received her training in this church. Amid the calamities that had struck the church from time to time in history, many pivotal documents and records that was preserved for long inside the premises of the church were burnt to ashes during the loot.

During festivals like Christmas, Easter, Annual Parish Day, etc. the Church wears a festive look and thousands throng the place to seek the blessings of Lord Christ. The Church is located at a distance of 9.5 km from central Patna. One can take taxi or auto rickshaw to visit this ancient church, which marks Patna's history.

St. Luke’s Church
One of the oldest church in Patna is the St. Luke’s Church. It is famous for the sculpture on the wooden sheets. It has a spacious hall, which accommodated 400 people. People from distant places visit this church. It sports a festive look during the Christmas.

St. Stephen’s Church
This is located in Danapur militray quarters in Patna. There is the cross sign in every section of the Church, the most important feature is the usage of the wooden Baptismal font. This was built in 1854, by Italian priests. The art works constitute of ancient works of brass flower pots and candelabra. The walls were badly damaged, in 1934.
